Just go to profile.oracle.com, log in and then you will see a little textual link "Bearbeiten" (thats German - I think in English it would be just "Edit") to change your email address.

Kind regards, NielsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8677649049588007585.post-30881866255909514532015-06-11T20:46:15.234+01:002015-06-11T20:46:15.234+01:00Iudith, you do not have to have a job to have an O...Iudith, you do not have to have a job to have an Oracle SSO account. You can use whatever email address you'd like.

We are currently support migration to a non-SSO email address to your (current) SSO account/email.

We do not have anything in place when a person wants to create a new SSO account with a different email and then "port" their PL/SQL Challenge to this new address.

I do not know if Oracle more generally offers this capability (for example, you spent 10 years on the forums using your work email address, and then left to join a new company and thus have a new email address (or left a company). I am thinking that profile.oracle.com might let you change your email address, but I am not at this moment sure.

I AM pretty sure that as an Oracle employee, I cannot change my email address. :-)Steven Feuersteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16619706770920320550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8677649049588007585.post-89759166869227183822015-06-11T19:52:57.281+01:002015-06-11T19:52:57.281+01:00Hello Steven,
I definitely share your excitement ...Hello Steven,

I definitely share your excitement and hope that the enthusiasm of our entire PL/SQL Challenge
community will only flourish further, in the most positive imaginable ways :):)

I only have a technical question, which sooner or later I was probably going to ask anyway:

Currently, as long as I am still at work, I do have an official Oracle single sign-on account.

My question is related to what happens AFTER somebody stops working, so, at a certain stage
his/her original Oracle Single Sign On account will probably be terminated ?

Namely:
1. Is it still possible to own an Oracle Single Sign On account as a "private person",
who simply wants to continue to develop his/her Oracle skills for purely study purposes,
including access to new Oracle versions for testing, learning, and so on ?

2. Will this Oracle Single Sign On account have to be different from the previous one,
and, if yes, will it be possible "to migrate" the current PL/SQL Challenge account
( including the entire activity ) to the new account ?

3. What are the precise technical steps required to be taken to have "life continuing smoothly" ?

I hope that I will not be looked at as an "extremely strange animal" for asking such questions :):)
but I am one of those who do like continuity, like to learn for learning's sake,
so, maybe and hopefully for other players as well, it would be nice if we had some information
about how to go on :):)

Thanks a lot in advance, Cheers & Best Regards,
Iudith

iudithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04905902445036068357noreply@blogger.com
